Our STORY

The TGL firm (originally Toor & Lally Chartered Accountants LLP) first opened in 2007 when Lucky Toor and Gurpinder Lally made a bold career move by starting their own firm after having established themselves at other reputable firms in the Lower Mainland. 

Looking to combine their entrepreneurial spirits and passion for accounting, their focus turned towards their local community.

Through adding a personal touch to their firm’s services, their goal evolved to becoming the go-to boutique accounting firm in their community.

Meanwhile, Suki Gill had been operating his own successful accounting practice (Gill & Associates) in Surrey since 2001 and was looking to take the next step in his career by finding like-minded teammates.

In 2010, Lucky, Gurpinder and Suki decided to merge their practices to become T&L Group Chartered Accountants LLP. They combined their vast fields of knowledge, expertise and experience to become a full-service firm working with clients across Canada.

In 2010, the team met another successful accountant in the local area. Nick DiMambro had been running his own practice (DiMambro & Associates) for over 20 years and was looking towards retirement. Seeing the potential the like-minded groups had in working towards the shared goal of bringing together personalized service with professional expertise, DiMambro & Associates joined the T&L Group team.

n 2016, the firm officially became TGL Group Chartered Professional Accountants LLP.

In 2019, the firm welcomed Bal Dhaliwal as a partner. Bal was the firm’s first articling student and after 10 years of moving up the ranks, he joined the partnership group. Bal brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team!
